The event was organized in close collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, under the guidance of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.

Held in Awali, the meeting brought together senior leaders and safety experts from major industrial and governmental entities to assess Bahrain’s emergency readiness and review response strategies across key industrial facilities.

The session featured in-depth discussions on enhancing existing emergency response frameworks, identifying improvement opportunities, and fostering stronger coordination between stakeholders. The meeting also underscored the importance of implementing joint field exercises and maintaining an ongoing schedule of specialized training programs.

Participants reached a consensus on the need for continuous inter-agency collaboration to build a unified national emergency response framework. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to applying global best practices in crisis management and nurturing a proactive safety culture across the Kingdom’s industrial landscape.

The meeting saw wide participation from representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Oil and Environment, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Electricity and Water Authority, Supreme Council of Environment, Bapco Energies and its subsidiaries (Bapco Refining, Bapco Tazweed, Bapco Air Fueling, Bapco Upstream), Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA), Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY) and Bahrain Steel Company.
