Bapco Energies, the integrated energy company dedicated to powering the next generation and securing Bahrain’s long-term energy, today hosted the 18th annual ceremony honoring participating and winning schools in the Bapco Energies Green School Award for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Acting Managing Director of Bapco Energies and Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Refining, together with government officials and representatives from participating schools.
Organized by Bapco Energies in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Supreme Council for Environment, the award received participation from more than 23 boys’ and girls’ secondary schools, which presented innovative environmental projects aimed at advancing sustainability and promoting environmental awareness among students.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery reaffirmed Bapco Energies’ continued focus on supporting national initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and commended the Ministry of Education and the Supreme Council for Environment for their collaboration in strengthening environmental awareness among future generations.
Dr. Jawahery said: “Over the past eighteen editions, the Green School Award has become a platform for inspiring students to transform knowledge into practical and innovative solutions that address environmental challenges.
