In the next 60 days, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s energy sector will achieve a pivotal milestone as Bapco Refining, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies, embarks on an important phase of its refinery modernization startup journey.

Under the auspicious patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom proudly marked the inauguration of the Bapco Modernization Project (BMP).

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Bapco Energies, reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to advancing its energy transition through innovation and strategic partnerships during a meeting with Mr. Ezra Yacob, Chairman and CEO of EOG Resources Inc., a leading U.S.-based hydrocarbon exploration company.
